No, definitley not. If women want a women who sleeps with numerous men to gain their fortunes after their deaths, then women need a reality check. Wife of Bath to me has no morals and the one man she loved beat her. Is that what woman really want? Is that what my mother and my little sister should look up to? No, I don't think so. However she was an individual in her society. Her ways of thinking about sex and virginity were unique, but a little hoeish. I mean if your gift is having sex then you really have a problem. She felt that being a virgin was for people who were perfect and she knew that she wasn't. She was married 5 times and only one of them was for love, and even the one she loved beat her. This is sad that a women in order to feel loved needs to be denied and mistreated. Is that really the way to show your love.
